Mehmet Uygun, known for his works depicting fantastic worlds, is sharing with viewers his own original fairy-tale-world figures in a manner devoid of time and place within a veritable cavalcade of colours. One of Uygun’s artworks is now taking place among the curated -periodically- works of art in Entropia. Like others this artwork reveals Uygun’s fantastic world.
The main elements of Mehmet Uygun’s works are imaginary figures, creatures from the world of fairy tales and gigantic creatures. In that sense, the fantastic interpretation of the real world we see and live, Uygun’s works presents the magic of an exaggerated reality. Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University and holding many personal exhibits both nationally and internationally in addition to participating in countless group exhibits, the artist currently lives and works in his studio in Zekeriyaköy, Istanbul.
The artworks that are periodically presented at Entropia have been renewed through Bozlu Art Project as of October 2020.
